A non-degree program typically providing a professional CEU certificate. The programs are usually six months to a year in length and train and certify the participant has completed courses in a related field of study.

You can use this certificate for a variety of purposes. Many licensing boards will accept the CEU certificate towards continuing education credits for license renewal. We suggest that you contact your particular licensing board before enrolling if this is your situation. Upon successful completion students can use the certificate to bolster their resume for employment or promotion. While we cannot guarantee that you will get a job or be promoted, completion of one or all of the certificate programs can certainly help.

We recommend printing the certificate program brochure to submit to your employer. This document should provide the necessary information for them to make a decision. Most employers will accept the CEU certificate but we do not guarantee that every employer will.

Many colleges and/or universities will accept the CEU certificate as they also issue CEUs for their certificate programs. While many schools follow the same set of standards for accepting outside credit, not all schools follow the same model. Yes. A certificate program consists of multiple courses. When you complete each course you will be able to print your certificate from inside of the course.

Corexcel is accredited by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.

Many of our certificate programs carry credit from our partner providers. You will find certificate programs that carry HRCI credit, PDUs, CEUs and more.

You absolutely can. In fact, it's recommended. Employers are anxious to hire individuals that take charge of furthering their education. Completing one of our Professional Certificate Programs will undoubtedly give you an edge over colleagues with similar backgrounds or credentials.

In 1970 a national task force of volunteers met to establish a form of credit for continuing education different from the semester system used in higher education. That credit was named the "Continuing Education Unit" and has come to be known as the "CEU". A CEU is defined as: "Ten contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction." The International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) is the founder and guardian of the CEU and determines the criteria for awarding CEUs. Corexcel is an authorized provider of the CEU.
